but most people are more worried about the economy and bringing jobs back.
No candidate is going to be talking about climate change as a major issue this year.

    •  Huh. a creative candidate will advocate (5+ / 0-)

      a comprehensive approach.

there should be a govt green jobs program.

funny how people see climate as some kind of a "niche" issue. you don't like to eat or something?

      •  I agree (5+ / 0-)

There should be a green jobs program, and many were created from the money from the stimulus, we have the Navy starting to use biofuels in their jets and ships, we are building more windfarms here in Ks and down south in Texas (Oklahoma seems to have missed the boat), battery plants in the upper Midwest are producing batteries for the new generation of electric cars, more efficient solar panels are being developed, etc. It's not  enough, but at this point in time, with a Republican House (who provides funding for all these things), the possibility of a green jobs program getting passed is non-existent.

Obama is "a good man" to many democrats like Bush was "a good man" to republicans.

when his campaign for reelection started.  His "stimulus" was wholly inadequate and he was warned that it was by outside economists and even inside economists like Romer.
