reinstating Glass-Steagall in his Wall St. "reform?"  No.  What we got is watered down reform after the lobbyists got a hold on this administration.  The banks are still to big to fail.

when Obama wants something bad enough he fights for it.  He's not weak when he wants something.  Too bad that what he usually wants (i.e. no Glass-Steagall, no prosecution of banksters, inadequate stimulus, austerity, etc) is antithetical to the a significant portion of his base.  It's certainly antithetical to most of what the left is about.

both CFPB and Dodd move to restore Glass Steagall IF Obama can get his appointee confirmed. You might ask Elizabeth Warren about that. As for prosecutions of Wall Street criminals, Obama cannot snap his fingers and order the DoJ to to come up with a conviction. If a case were being built, you would certainly not expect a personal hand-delivered notification, would you?

          of course you would

Can you provide a link to show that CFPB and Dodd move to restore Glass Steagall?  There are those in the administration already talking about bailing out the BofA again.

Holder is almost as political as Gonzales and in many ways more dangerous.  Obama snaps his fingers and Holder jumps, just like he did with regard to the lack of prosecutions for torture, the closing of Guitmo, the trial of Gitmo detainees in civil court, the release of the torture photos, and on and on and on.  If you believe that a case is being built and that the Obama DoJ will prosecute anyone responsible for the economic collapse you are more naive than I could imagine.  He will never betray his corporate benefactors the way he has betrayed a portion of what has historically been a solid part of the Dem base.

Meanwhile, Obama's failure to do anything about the unemployed and those whose homes are being foreclosed is out and out cruel.  And, he continues to push for cuts to Medicare and SS.  He's completely worthless and I hope that he is humiliated on election day.  Sweet Karma.
