    The UK has only a very limited judicial review, reserving most power for Parliament.  Canada has judicial review, but the parliament can override the court indefinitely (albeit for 5 year periods).  Like the UK, France seems to vest most of its power in the legislature.

    So there seem to be all sorts of models; the US's strong form of judicial review is just one among many models.
