Congress--with a 2/3 majority--can already propose overriding the Supreme Court, by presenting an amendment to the Constitution to the states. And to keep it from being just derangement in Congress and wildly overpoliticized, that has to get a 3/4 approval by the states.

So Perry's nifty new idea really already exists, WITH a sanity governor (a phrase that would be meaningless to him) on it.

AND, of course, if Congress really disapproved, they could impeach one or more justices who voted the "wrong" way. And they wouldn't even need approval by the states. Just a mere majority in the House to vote articles of impeachment, and 2/3 in the Senate. (Of course, impeachment is reserved for people who get blowjobs--or just need to be impeached for, uh... something... to gum up the works....)

    Perry? Flaming, ignorant, demagogic fuckwit.
