Don't forget American Greetings which got $93.5 million in tax dollars to move a few miles within Cuyahoga County (and immediately gave its CEO almost a 20 percent pay raise). And Diebold which got $50 million in state taxpayers money to build a palatial new world HQ in the Canton-Akron area, where it's already located — the other half comes from local taxpayers, all for a company that apparently never really seriously looked into leaving the area.

had to pony up $4 million each to move 50 Wendy's HQ jobs from, Atlanta, if memory serves correctly.  That's $160,000 per job the local and state taxpayers had to pony up to move 50 jobs into a building the company already owned and did not need to expand to accomodate the positions.  The local homeowners in Dublin are heavily taxed and this just shifted more tax burden on them because of the sense of entitlement to corporate welfare that the company and the radical republican welfare cheats dumped on middle class taxpayers.

Sooner or later republican voters will get wise and figure out who is screwing them over on taxes.

Giving rich people and corporations tax welfare leaves the middle income taxpayers to pay it all.

Republicans are like alligators. All mouth and no ears.

    •  Oh no, not American Greetings (0+ / 0-)

I have used their card-making software for years.  Not much money, but that's lousy to hear and puts a stain on their products I use, now.
