..."Eric T. Schneiderman, the attorney general of New York, has come under increasing pressure from the Obama administration to drop his opposition to a wide-ranging state settlement with banks over dubious foreclosure practices, according to people briefed on discussions about the deal.

    Associated Press
Eric T. Schneiderman has objected to elements of the settlement for months.
In recent weeks, Shaun Donovan, the secretary of Housing and Urban Development, and high-level Justice Department officials have been waging an intensifying campaign to try to persuade the attorney general to support the settlement, said the people briefed on the talks.
Mr. Schneiderman and top prosecutors in some other states have objected to the proposed settlement with major banks, saying it would restrict their ability to investigate and prosecute wrongdoing in a variety of areas, including the bundling of loans in mortgage securities..."

That is just one recent example of the Obama administration working as agents of the Wall Street banks. And also, failure to hold any serious quantity of prosecutions or even investigations regarding the market manipulation/and subsequent crash of 2008, not even compared to the Savings and Loan crisis, a much smaller scandal, prosecuted under a republican president no less!  Even Reagan thought (unlike Obama) that he had to at least sort of uphold the laws of this nation on the rich class in addition to the bipartisan approach of throwing the book at poor people!  Add to that, no real accountability for the SEC routinely destroying evidence that could show wall street crimes, and i wonder, why isn't Obama doing anything, then i remember... oh yeah, Goldman Sachs are big time contributors of his... WTF!?
