  •  I disagree.. it's a good ploy.. (0+ / 0-)

We all know - ok at least I know - Obama is going to come out with the same old crap he's been floating as trial balloons the past week or so.

Very weak proposals.. nothing that will put people back to work quickly.  Trade agreements?  Infrastructure bank?  ho-hum..

If Romney can get ahead of Obama and, at the very least, have his plan compared to Obama's, it's a very smart move.

    •  OK, smart guy, tell us what Romney can say (1+ / 0-)

that will actually be viable, and resonate with the Republican Party.

See, 'cause just bashing Obama isn't stating your case.  At all.  Nor, will that strategy do much for Mittens, since he is not yet the nominee.

boost competition here for manufacturing jobs that left the country.

Special tax credits for industries that have floundered here and gone offshore.  What happened to the thousands of semi-conductor jobs once here in America?  You can fill in dozens of industries in that sentence.  They are not made overseas because they are necessarily cheaper, we have simply ceded whole industries to our competition.

Special tax credits for foreign investment here.  Let's pressure all of our trading partners to locate, at the very least, assembly plants here in the USA.
