    the importance of USGS work. While the quake in VA is a fluke it shows that without monitoring and study the risks for parts of the country that do experience frequent events go up drastically. Combine that with nuclear power plants on or near fault lines and this should send chills down the spine of any warm-blooded creature. Which means as a lizard Cantor won't be affected by it.

    Modern Conservatism isn't simply about them owning as much as possible; it's also about breaking anything they can't own.

      Cantor...among just so many repubs...aren't "aware".  Money...profits etc. is FAR more important than any kind of government watchdog element in our society.
