50 state exchanges rather than just one

    •  Obamacare/medical care can be closer to home. (0+ / 0-)

Calling it Obamacare does, of course, convey a certain bias, but I think it's a label that ultimately may be a compliment as more of the provisions of health care/health insurance reform take effect.

How about if the states just enact single payer plans? Nothing's holding them back.

Social Security cannot responsibly be handed to 50 state governments. (Privatization is a lousy idea, too, unless you loved derivatives traders and want to see what they'd do with SS funds.) Look at the great job the states have done raiding governmental workers pension funds. (Raiding, as opposed to the borrowing that the Feds do with Social Security receipts.)

Medicare is already a shared program, so I'd like to know more about what Perry would  send that off to states, particularly those Tea-Party-prominent states with some of the lousiest health statistics.

Obama and strong Democratic majorities in 2012!
