      and what an example to the rest of the world.  He's a U.S. presidential candidate, but he doesn't "know" anything, and he's apparently not interested in learning enough to know whether it would be worthwhile to spend money on solving the problem.

      It's a race to the bottom for the Republican nomination, and Mitt is apparently running fast to keep up.  This circus is certainly putting a lie to the claim of "American Exceptionalism," at least as most people understood the phrase.
