  •  The truth is, few Republicans are (11+ / 0-)

prepared with the right words to say when it comes out that they are secretly gay. Yet so many have been caught in the past, it would make sense for someone to put together a compendium of the better and worse things to say, and publish a book. Basically, a how-to book on what to do when you are caught soliciting gay sex and yet you'd like to keep your seat and your Christian constituents happy. If a guy like this had such a book, maybe he wouldn't be saying such stupid things.

Don't tell me what you believe. And don't tell me what you do. I barely know you.

    •  you seem to be the one to write it (0+ / 0-)

seeing as how being infatuated with young guys and getting a hotel room to "talk" is common with you.

America could have chosen to be the worlds doctor, or grocer. We choose instead to be her policeman. pity

      •  You've gotten a bit obsessive here (6+ / 0-)

I'm pretty sure doc2 was playing us, as Clem Yeobright commented. But regardless of whether he was snarking or, um, playing it straight, why do you have to chase after him like this?

Let us all have the strength to see the humanity in our enemies, and the courage to let them see the humanity in ourselves.

but it just sounded wierd to me as if he was either trying to give the GOPer cover or defending some strange behavior. Do you think it's "common" for straight guys to become "infatuated" with young men and take them to a hotel room just to talk? If so I owe the man an apology, maybe I've lived a sheltered life here in South Dakota.

their dog; others go on the internet and look for people to kick around. Same kind of people, but I'd rather actually they kick around anonymous internet villains than real-life pooches.
