    They are allowed to hold them, possibly as flight risks, possibly as material witnesses.

    There's also the criminal contempt statutes.

    The banksters could be in prison with very little effort.

      To arrest someone you will need a warrant with probable cause.

      Then a judge gets to set bail.  That's going to be based on the judge's determination of whether that person is a flight risk - and most of these people would not be.

      As for criminal contempt, presumably you mean Contempt of Court.  So what court orders have they violated?  When did they do anything that would come under criminal contempt statutes?

      Sorry... we have a Constitution precisely so crypto-fascists like you can't just throw people in jail when they feel like it.
