    If the fear is that these institutions are integral to a functional capitalist system, why don't we push forward for criminal charges against the perpetrators involved inside the institution?  A bank isn't going to go under just because some of its executives and workers go to jail for committing fraud.  It may hurt their stock but if capable replacements are available then the institution should be able to recover.  If the institution is going to fail because some of its people are going to jail then it's business model is flawed and it should fail and be absorbed by more capable and efficient institutions.
