I'm late today because I wanted to get my project outside done while it was 69°  LOL

I needed to cut 4 brackets out to weld onto a show car to make it easier to strap down on a trailer.
    Going to Savannah, Ga tomorrow.
David is doing the things it takes to become a Shiner, that's the Charity he gives too, David will go to Hospitals in Cities the nascar tour stops in also.
David also has an old ARCA car that has Shiner decals on it. Wednesday night Savannah has a speedway that is doing something with the local Shiners & they asked that the car be there. So I will take it down there for 3 events Tuesday & Wednesday.

    :)

    Hope everyones day goes well

Glad you got your work done before the heat and humidity got too bad.  That's the smart thing to do.

Good on David for his charity work.  That's so important -- please tell him how proud we are of him for doing that.  My brother in law would race from time to time at Savannah Motor Speedway and we went to watch.  It's a pretty nice speedway -- nicer than Jax.

You seem to be doing a good deal of traveling lately, but you don't seem to mind.

For the last several years before he died, my husband asked the kids at Xmas, Father's Day and Birthdays to give a donation to this one charity -- I forget which race driver and which charity, but it was for camps for disabled children.  He'd sometimes get a tee shirt from them too.

Have a great start to your week and be careful out there driving.

Kyle Petty & Wife Patty set this up in memorance of their son Adam who was killed in a race car in May of 2000.

Adam would at the young age go to the hospitals to visit seriously ill kids.
So Mom & Dad have been doing this camp thing since then.

I hate forgetting things...I would have remembered it, but probably 2 weeks from now.

Yes, they got quite a few donations in my husband's name for almost 3 years.
