For the record, Obama's a far better choice than anything the Republicans have coughed up so far as Presidential contenders.  Not a one of them would know how to do anything but run this country into the damned ground.

And that goes for Congressional Republicans, as well.  What have any of them done to solve the jobs crisis?  Not one goddamned thing.  I crap bigger than them any day of the week.

    Talk about empty suits.

    •  so you want the guy who's proven he can (0+ / 0-)

run the country into the ground instead of someone only promising to do so... yes I agree R's aren't as able as the chosen one, to do that.

government doesn't create jobs...   nothing, is exactly what we need the congress to do more of.

what?  bill gates wants advice from chuck schumer on how to run his company? please.

so ya..let's talk about empty suits...    and vacuous ideas...  though even a  vacuous idea would be a step up for obama

...ran it into the ground for him.  In case you hadn't noticed.

As for the government creating jobs - sure it can, and given the current economy, it should.  Right now, however, we have a free market that's failing to create any.  We have business leaders sitting around with their thumbs up their ases because they feel "uncertain" or some crap like that.  Business leaders are failing the American people.  Capitalism is failing the American people.  The free market is failing the American people.  And because Republicans put so much stock into both, they are failing the American people, too.  Bloody well time to give government a chance to create more jobs.

And a do-nothing Congress? That's what the Republicans have given us.  I don't know about you, but I expect a lot better for my tax dollars.
