    the audience would be bigger...that is just plain foolish...the NFL isn't a lead in...

    What it means is this will likely be the lowest rated joint session ever...

    One can argue over whether that is good or bad...but what can't be argued is that a non-primetime speech the night of the NFL kickoff is a recipe for poor ratings...

    the twitterati is incredibly wrong on this one...

        But if the previews just reiterate the same crapola repackaged as "New And Improved!", then even I would prefer to watch my local sports franchise win or lose against your local sports franchise.

        Or Monty Python reruns I've seen a hundred times. Or listen to my monotone neighbor Ralph drone on endlessly about the weather. And I'm in SoCal!
