    ...I like that.  Does the emailer mean TARP and the secret Fed loans to the banks? Or the attempts at greater regulation per Dodd-Frank?  Never the twain shall meet, you know.

    Or is he just whining that someone tried to do something he didn't agree with?

      But I think they have a beef with government interference.  The reference to guitars kinds of points the way.

      Last week federal marshals raided the Gibson Guitar Corporation in Tennessee. It wasn't the first time. The government appears to be preparing to charge the famous builder of instruments with trafficking in illegally obtained wood. It's a rare collision of music and environmental regulation.

        They were enforcing the Lacey Act, a century-old endangered species law that was amended in 2008 to include plants as well as animals

        Correct me if I'm wrong, but if Obama was inaugurated in January of 2009, he didn't sign this bill into law, his predecessor did.

        Your winger friend maybe should blame George W. Bush for meddling with guitars.
