      but I have a small problem with the simplistic notion that banning meat is the best solution to that problem.

        would work in stopping the immediate warming effects of climate change.  It wouldn't cost anything,  it would be fast, would be good for the nations health and economy bringing down costs for chronic illnesses.  Of course it would have to be voluntary but reduced meat consumption is making great headway.   It's only for those that can recognize that the choice between a burger and climate catastrophe is a no brainer.

        Right now, there are not many solutions that would work fast at all without requiring an overhaul of society.  The problem with some of the remedies as mentioned above is that they address C02 unfortunately, we don't have time for that.

        That I can see this is the only solution that would work on a mass scale but the obstacle is educating.  People often say well people won't do it or countries won't do it...my answer..don't worry about them just worry about what you can do.

          what we wish to eat, but changes in such consciousness are generational in speed and meanwhile, cows keep eating and farting, whether I eat them or not.
