  •  I have to disagree (19+ / 0-)

I have really thought about this a lot. I want to believe they are just libertarian and want just to be left alone to accumulate their wealth, but:

It's more than that. They also want The All-Power.

Libertarianism is just their starting point. When you get people who have no love or compassion for fellow humans, or for their planet Earth....then you get sociopaths who feel no empathy for anything or anyone.

They have evolved from Libertarianism to Authoritarians....there will be no dissent and no deviation from the plan. Full hate is turned on anyone who tries to thwart their quest for power. Now, they "just want to be left alone" to rule this corporation, this country, this family, this world. And it's not enough for them to get power, they want to force everyone else to think the same way they think, and believe the same things they believe. And if you don't, they will crush you with hate and hateful actions.

They will destroy this country and rebuild it in their own image. I don't think I am exaggerating....altho I admit it sounds kinda crazy.

This whole world's wild at heart and weird on top....Lula

Know your enemy!  The philosophy of libertarianism is the dissolution of power and individual liberty.  That is the threat, a lack of authoritarianism.

" When you get people who have no love or compassion for fellow humans, or for their planet Earth....then you get sociopaths who feel no empathy for anything or anyone."

Well there you go.  They need authority over them.  We dont need to fear their authoritarinism, we just have to crush their resistance to ours.

To be, if not wealthier, then more powerful than any mere nation.

think you sound crazy.  one thing i was really glad to see in the article was the fact that republicans organize around war, war is a sacrament to them.  the destruction and chaos that ensue from war is like a life sustaining elixir for them.

behind their hatred and warmongering is a deep deep fear of life.  it's true.  somewhere in that is the key as to how to solve this problem.

but first they must be denied access to power at every level of government.

Vote GOP in 2012; let's prove the Mayans right!
