    Really, that's where the average voter gets much of their information. They may catch the 60 second news break on their favorite music radio station. If they tune into network news they feel like they are being really seriously well informed citizens (and compared to many of their peers, they are).  Many, many people get their political news and views from friends, relatives, co-workers - over the back fence, around the BBQ, in the staff break room.
