It's a copout to avoid making a difficult decision.

Take the story of Solomon, who confronted the two women claiming to be the mother of the same baby. The women could either admit which was the real mother or watch the baby get cut in half (so each could have a part).

The real mother quickly spoke up and said the baby should go to the other woman, whereas the other woman was fine with the baby being cut in half (hey, the Bible doesn't make sense to me, either).

Anyway, if the women just sat there and didn't say anything or walked away, that would demonstrate an inability to make a decision not someone making a hard decision.

Deciding not to vote because you cannot decide which of the "two evils" to choose is not praiseworthy and deserves quite a bit of derision. Being intellectually dishonest and claiming that Obama is no better than the republicans opposing him is also not praiseworthy and worthy of derision.

I have to disagree with you and say here's someone who is pouting because he can't have what he wants, which is to feel heard and important, so he's going to have a public tantrum about it and try to drag others to his little pity party.

Look, many of us are thoroughly unhappy with Obama's presidency and didn't get what we hoped for or expected. But most of us are also acting like adults and realizing that the decision as to who will be our next president is going to be made, whether we take part or not, so we're deciding to take part and choose the option least likely to destroy the country for good.

If this poster wants to be heard, he should make a decision to vote for one or the other of the only viable candidates and then intelligently discuss why that decision is very hard for him.

I certainly could relate to that.
