  •  Elizabeth Warren for President, NOT Senate (0+ / 0-)

With the extremely bleak future I perceive, not only continuing for myself but also my children, I see no hope on the horizon with the current candidates pursuing the office of President. In fact, it is extremely depressing. In my opinion, the masses would rally behind Dr. Warren now should she decide to throw her hat into the ring. As a Senator, how much impact would she have in a deadlocked Congress? The population is sick of career politicians and the wealthy aristocrats on both sides of the aisle. This could be the difference we have all been waiting for. She resonates well among young voters, and Jon Stewart acts as though he would have her on his show weekly. Once her candidacy is announced, her ability to raise contributions should be fairly simple - even from the struggling middle class she is representing.

Personally, I am also attempting to make a difference on behalf of the middle class by running for office, however I do not have the resources to make a legitimate run at PA Senate. All of my campaigning comes from free media and word of mouth. Such as youtube, username Mennitti4Congress. I fear this will never succeed in the current political machine that runs the country. If people such as myself are not able to fight along side Dr. Warren, what support will she have to accomplish anything in Congress? The only solution I can see to provide any hope to the middle class is if she runs for President. If she is unsuccessful in 2012, then things will only continue to worsen for 2016; at which time she would have even better odds of victory having been in the public eye directly and experiencing how the campaign race functions.
