      and saying that teachers don't do much to create "aggregate demand." But, I think that is based on the assumption that the only way to get millions of people to work is something like construction. However, most of the people who lost their jobs were not just construction workers. I think we literally need millions of teachers and job counselors, and occupational therapists, and project managers, and etc. right now. So, I think these jobs could play just as big a role as some of the traditional areas people have focused on for economic stimulus. I would also remind people that the WPA hired many teachers, artists, writers, poets, etc. It wasn't all just manual labor. People seem to have forgotten that in recent years.

      Just doing my part to piss off the right wing smart ass comment at a time.
