    A company that is looking to hire has to weigh the cost of employment against the benefit of having the employee.

    That decision will be on a scale; when the benefit to hiring is at the margin, a tax cut may be what tips the scale in favor of the hiring.

    No, no company will hire just because of the cut, just like no company will hire just because they want another employee and the new position won't cost too much.

    But, lowering the employment cost per employee will figure into the decision in a way favorable to hiring.
