      everyone knows that they'd change it if it was to their political advantage. They've as much as said so.

      far from the only one. There's intransigence, bigotry and greed for violence and power on both sides (or should I say, all sides, since Hamas and Netanyahu's government aren't the only participants).
      I wouldn't want to live in a place ruled by Hamas. But I wouldn't want to live in a place where so much power is in the hands of the ultra-Orthodox Jews or the militant settlers either.
      Despicable people do despicable things, and there seems to be no shortage of them in positions of power in Israel and Palestine (and Syria, for that matter).

      If, in our efforts to win, we become as dishonest as our opponents on the right, we don't deserve to triumph.
