    actually delved into the credit card issue, how much you wind up paying for that splurge, etc. As a result, he has avoided credit cards like the plague. That will have to change soon because he's 21 and will need to begin establishing credit, but I'm pretty sure he'll do it judiciously. He hasn't forgotten what that one teacher laid out for his class, thus doing them a real service. There is good debt and bad debt, but few of us are taught that distinction at an early age.
