    hope he does, then this discussion, presidentially speaking, will be moot. These folks will never, in lege numbers, get behind a Mormon. The establishment will try hard to counter that, but it won't work.

    The GOP looks at faith as a strategic tool, but to the vast majority of believers, their faith is real and a vote for a Mormon is a vote for a false prophet if not a vote for the anti-christ.

    Ds see human suffering and wonder what they can do to relieve it. Rs see human suffering and wonder how they can profit from it.

      .... to be taken seriously as a candidate in 1980.   In 1980 I thought the biggest threat was Bush Senior.  

      Never underestimate the enemy.

      Believe you me, if Mittens is the candidate, the establishment will find a way to sell him.  

      And if Perry is the candidate, we'all darn well ought to get our passports in order, just in case.  Too bad the Netherlands is going to get hit hard by sea level rise, it's such a sane country from what I hear, and most people there speak English.
