    you have to be careful if you want to use statistics.

    The 3% number represents the very roughly gauged AA visitors to the site.  Not members.  Not commenters.  Not diarists.  Visitors.  Although it may be a guide, it is far from a firm number if you want to compare it to commenters.

    We would need to look at the people who comment on a regular basis, and not only what race they are, but whether they are supportive of BK, because not all of the 30% that were reprimanded are actually black.

    So what we need to know is what percentage of commenters are BK supporters compared to non- BK supporting commenters.

    I think the ratio would still be well skewed, but that would be a fair comparison.

    All of that said, I cannot blame anyone for joining in the boycott, because after what many black users have been through lately, this is just the straw that snapped the camel's back.

      Bkos has been decimated (probably some number between the colloquial and  technical usage of that word)

      At Bkos last Friday it felt like at least a third of the major posters had had privileges removed. A couple banned. And two editors of Criminal Injustice also caught in the net.
