  •  if so what diaries were "about blacks" (0+ / 0-)

you said half of todays diaries were "about blacks" what did you mean? I either missed a whole bunch of diaries which were "about blacks" but were not about the boycott or else you're 'jusifyin'. Could you point out a dozen or so?

    •  There was a stupid diary about stupid Maureen Dowd (0+ / 0-)

going there and using--gasp!--the dreaded "B" word. In itself, it wasn't a bad diary, but the response it received and the "gasp" nature of the title was just way over the top.

Was that necessarily a diary "about blacks?" No. It was a diary partly about the lame state of the media today.

But my point was that, judging from the diaries on the rec list at the time, it is silly to suggest that DKos is somehow a hostile place for African Americans.

Btw, have you thought about me not being white? After all, you seemed to suggest that somehow I'm less aware of race issues than you. Just like some of the deservedly banned posters accused me of.

      Take care.

you just said some goofy shit like half of todays diaries are "about blacks" as proof that racism isnt a problem on dkos. You were wrong so I mentioned it. But if you're serious about wanting to know about why so many black kossacks are disturbed about the state of dkos then perhaps you should read the many diaries that are about the racism that exists here on dkos and why so many minorities find it offensive. I guarentee you that they are not "silly" and suggest you might learn something beneficial.

        •  Lol. (0+ / 0-)

I never said "racism isn't a problem on dkos".

You put those words into my mouth because, for some bizarre reason that you refuse to explain, you somehow think you know more about race issues than I do. It's YOU who needs to learn something about race, compañero/a. Not me.

          Cuídate.
