    I'm more concerned about the bandwagoning that seemed to be going on last night: so many diaries in support of the boycott that had no clear complaints, much less clear demands.

        ...made that more or less impossible.

        Many of us (even fairly intensive users) found out about it minutes before it went into effect. And we did so via diaries that pointedly refused to address the actual merits of the case.

        That made the decision to participate or not to participate really very easy for me.  Like you, I'm not participating.

        Perhaps, in a week, the boycotters will return and take the time to explain what it is they left over and (retroactively) actually make the case for their actions.
