    I just think, "seriously?" And it's not that small. More than one out of ten. Really?

    But yes, the economics suck. KGO in the SF Bay Area was doing a food drive today. Seems like 20% of adults are relying on food banks these days, and 25% of children. I hope that those who have (the "job creators?") can look past these numbers to see the people.

      Those people who are shouting (and worse) at civil rights activists are often disturbingly young. If you do the math, you realize that many of those people are still with us.

        But my grandmother saw more change in her life than most people, from horses to moon missions. And she made no distinction between her grand- or great-grandchildren, regardless of their melanin. She actually was better than a few of her daughters in this regard. So it can skip a generation, I think.
