  •  But, Jed, it's all that uncertainty stuff. (5+ / 0-)

Thought those "job creators" were the risk takers.  My, my, how they've been wussed down.  In the meantime, I see some of my Hispanic neighbors starting businesses with little prepared food trucks hitting the sites where people congregate.  Family businesses still, but their families are making it.
If we had small business loans to seed small business start-ups like these many of the unemployed could make it.  Banks we bailed out are not making loans of this kind without considerable collateral.
Boehner doesn't care about these small businesses because they are, well, truly small businesses and can't afford lobbyists.  Neither can all the little lawn service families, plumbers and electricians around, but they are the folks who  keep communities economically healthy and viable.

    •  Nah, it uncertainty over uncertainty about uncerta (1+ / 0-)

inty around being uncertain who will bribe them most.

      •  They Long for the Certainty of a Faux Market (0+ / 0-)

devoid of annoying competition or anti-trust enforcement, unfettered by the nuisance of consumer safety and environmental protection, unburdened from the responsibility to either the common good of the present or the the future.

They want the certainty of knowing their politicians will stay bought, the public will stay distracted and their profits will be endless, unlimited and without ascertainable risk.

The Terribly Visible Hand of the Faux Market wipes away all these horrible nasty uncertainties and leaves them with .... everything.

        La.  How jolly.

Someone in a very expensive suit is at the front door and says he wants to foreclose on our democracy. Where should I tell him he can put his robosigning pen?
