    I would never say they should be waved away or laughed at. By no means. However, when Bryan Fischer did his schtick on how letting a man's house burn down because he hadn't paid for fire insurance was "the Christian thing to do," he got blasted for getting his religion wrong.

    The ones who are wagging the dog now are more frightening because they're more convincing than this particular fright wig set. At this point, we're not watching whoever they are, and that makes me very, very nervous.

    Here is a hint: "They're not Baptist. They're more non-denominational." That's what I get when I ask. Non-denominational is a million miles from ecumenical. In this case, it was a way of being stealthy and not having to form an official organization or answer questions or be pinned down and located.

    Every reductio ad absurdum will seem like a good idea to some fool or another.
