    That seems to work, too.

That's the best of both worlds, apparently.

soon. And man are we going to put those blog whoring Meta Haters in their place!

I am thinking there are only Blue Skies and Clear Horizons Ahead. Until some dickhead forms a Meta of H of MHers discussion Group.

Which might explain why USENET went into it's death spiral and transformed into a site for swapping MP3s and some astonishing porn. Oddly there was a day when people held out hope for Soc. Before crazies poisoned the forums and left it all to the Alt.Bin file swapper folks

But it doesn't get spread like Susan's post about her brother did. Even DK die-hards realize most of their social media friends don't really give a rat's ass about the internal functioning/arguments about the site.

The posts that usually get the most play are often not even strictly political. They also tend to have a lot of photos in them, and they can recur in popularity over years.

      Examples:

      Here

      Here

      And here

The top two are from 2009, the final one is from 2008. And the 2008 one had a second life last week, when it resurged through social networks (mostly stumbleupon) and was, I think, the most shared post from Daily Kos during last week. Those first two last time we checked (a few months ago) were the most shared diaries/posts of all time.
