    Quit trying to disparage those who have been less than impressed as "tearing down the presidency." Absurd and hyperbolic to the extreme.

      You know, both sides in this never ending battle have a point and both are, in my view, mostly doing God's work (or what have you, I'm an open-minded agnostic).

      We need supporters to get the president re-elected and we need complainers to pressure him -- in fact, I don't think the President would maybe be even contemplating a lot of the rather exciting things he's been at least talking about doing lately without the pressure coming at him.

      However, it would be so, so nice if people didn't seem so set on automatic pilot. One side truly seems to fit the old joke about the President walking on water and complaining he can't swim and other side actually seems to think he is walking on water.

      More thinking, less angry typing might be slightly more helpful at times.

      Forward to Yesterday -- Reactionary aesthetics and liberal politics (in that order)
