    This isn't really my area.

    If they're already scaled, let's make the scale more progressive.

    •  Correct - B is one part of Medicare (0+ / 0-)

      It generally covers part of out-of-hospital doctors, tests, etc.

      Part D premiums (the drug benefit) are also currently scaled by income.

      There are currently no premiums for anybody for Part A, the hospital coverage.  That is considered the basic coverage.
