    I don't know if I would have voted to convict at trial, but that's a clear case where a cause celebre isn't quite as clear cut as it should be.  But I'd absolutely not vote to execute either one.

    What kills me is how proud the diarist is of himself.

      I would say both claims of innocence are dubious. Which is too bad, because as the Innocence Project has shown us- there are indeed tons of legitimate claims of innocence out there. Let's not cry wolf on the dubious cases, lest our credibility be shot when a real credible case comes along.
