    get out of control if folks don't agree to abide by a few common themes and ideas. By sticking to a "Star Wars" concept, and not bringing in outside ideas, it gives us a canvas with definite borders to stay within, which keeps things channeled.

      and it lasted a good long time, as I recall, almost a year, with three to five paragraphs added every few days. Most of us stuck with the original three or four main characters, the sheep guy, his shape-changing sheep girlfriend, a wisecracking chain smoking fairy godmother who showed up from time to time, and a giant robot.

      The odd man out kept introducing this super mecha warrior, with military conspiracy 'missions' and the like. We blew the super warrior up a few times, but her super armor saved her, so she got busted for excessive use of force and her superior officer beamed her to a prison planet.  Every time she was brought back into the plot, she ran afoul of some regulation or other and got sent back to purgatory.

      Good times, good times.
