    But we know that mediocre and even bad presidents don't do any damage to their alleged ideology.  Conservatism seems to be doing just fine despite Bush.

      witnessing its decline & fall, and apparently failing to notice.

      The TP has just about completed its purge of "reasonable Republicans."  Soon, when their childish radicalism is rejected--  as Obama beats Perry/Romney -- their party, their brand, and their conservatism will be crushed for years.  

      Much of the public already hates them.  We've just gotta win this one big, and they'll have nothing left.

          Conservatism is defeating itself, by going to its logical extremes.  With the help of some deft aikido from Obama, imo.
