    walked the walk...what you are seeing at the Occupy Wall Street events is what I went through in the sixties...I experienced all of that and more because of my work for civil rights, women's rights, and my activism against the Vietnam War.

    It is absolutely amazing to listen to this younger generation try to pretend that they understand what we worked for and to listen to them opine about how we need to "walk a mile" so that we can come back crawling back with our tail tucked between our legs.

    Why don't you try something: go to the ghettos everyday and feed the hungry and clothe the poor; try forming a support group for our soldiers that are being sent over seas and act as their advocate (and actually be there for them when they come home); elicit funds to pay for legal fees for people who have been unjustly accused of a crime; fight to elect representatives who will actually fight against the corruption on Wall Street, allow yourself to be sprayed with pepper spray, or be spit on or be hit with a police baton...

    I have...and it changes you...and it makes you realize there is a lot of difference between the people who like to talk the talk and the people who are willing to stand on principle.
