    ...we wouldn't have a generation of idiots that don't know this country was chock-full of brown people long before their white ancestors got here.

    This same phenomenon is happening all over America right now. Berea, SC, was transformed seemingly overnight from a burned-out former textile enclave just outside the city of Greenville, populated by white, working-class people from the surrounding hills, into a half-Mexican community with bustling, if marginal, businesses catering to its immigrant population. Half the signs are in a language that half the population can't read and every mom-n-pop that closes is replaced by a fringe bank or lavanderia or whatever. It's little wonder the aging population that sees its community disappearing or being subsumed by another is alarmed.

    That they don't know the root causes or really who to blame is a different matter. They think the government encourages it and have no real understanding that the immigrants wouldn't be there if they weren't given jobs by people with zero regard for those not benefitting even as their own former jobs were shipped off physically to Mexico or some SE Asian country.
