    I commented below. This whole thing seems strange to me, almost like a hit job on Jennifer.

      Especially since what she said about Kasich was so vague and generic, and this appointment apparently MUST go to a Democrat. And hitting her at this time is ultra bad as she is spearheading the effort to repeal voter suppression bill HB 194, which by the way it looks like we've got the signatures to put on hold for the upcoming November election to repeal the union-busting bill, SB 5. Plus we're over by quite a bit and able to keep gathering signatures so it looks good for the 2012 ballot and putting it on hold until after the presidential election — critical to our chances in Ohio. Trying to take out someone who is a champion for this is abetting the cause of voter suppression. I'm mildly curious about why she was praising Kasich — I don't know the context — but the appointment itself is minor and innocuous, as long as there as no quid pro quo that she will back off on working to repeal the GOP's voter suppression efforts.
