      He's also a corporate Democrat, very cozy with businesses. One of the more notable things about him otherwise is that he has been critical of teachers' unions, which got him booted from the education committee in the leg at the top of this year's session.

      Doubt he's going anywhere, though.

      I think Goodman is the nominal frontrunner, but his main issue is marijuana legalization. While I'm with him on that, personally, it could make a race that should be safe for Democrats competitive in a top-two election against a Republican, depending on what the district looks like.
