    TWU represents the subway operators; NYMTA bus drivers are represented by ATU (Amalgamated Transitworkers Union, which is pretty much the dominant transit union and the one he's a member of). Wonder if the ATU local is taking a similar vote.

      My father was a New York City bus driver (Broadway and 42nd Street lines,) and he was a member of the TWU.  As were all the bus drivers in his garage at the time.

      When the TWU went on strike, the bus drivers went on strike.
