the Nation when Schieffer asked if Obama's lack of military service made him less qualified than McCain. Clark started that Obama had not based his qualifications on his military service and while he admired his fellow veteran's John McCain's service - being shot down was not a qualification to be president. Clark took 4 slugs from an AK in Vietnam  - and while grievously wounded, he still led his men out of an ambush. So he definitely had some gravitas on the subject. Wes Clark was a Hillary supporter initially but immediately started campaigning for Obama after he clinched.

Clark also stated he had concerns of  McCain's ability to lead. Both campaigns freaked out and Obama quickly distanced himself from Clark except when he had him stumping for veterans or places such as Ft. Campbell, KY. I saw Clark on Face the Nation and I thought he was right on and I was disappointed in the Obama campaign but Clark soldiered on for Obama.
