  •  I've been hounding Sessions and Shelby (7+ / 0-)

as well as Spencer Bachus regarding this issue for months now. One would think that, as it affects their constituents, they would be interested in stopping it, but, I receive the same reply I always get from them, to whit:

"Thank you for contacting me about your concern. At this time, it is my belief that your concerns are unwarranted. Thank you for your support. If you wish to donate to my campaign, please use the enclosed envelope."

fold it neatly, and put in the "enclosed envelope" as a "contribution". Make them pay the postage, at least.

If you wanted, well I'm not going to tell you to lie, sort of hint that if they can see to it that the relatively small amount of money it takes to set up a registry is forthcoming you might be inclined to send legal tender the next time.

However, the day any of them receive a financial contribution from me will be the day before I am officially declared mentally incompetent and sent off for psychiatric evaluation. I would contribute to the election campaign of a dead dog before I would contribute to any of them.

      legislative aide for veteran's affairs?

If you don't want to talk to them, you can ask the office for their email and send an email instead. This often is a great way to get an answer.
