    of me for standing for what I believe in. It's a weird situation. I might write about it more. I was raised poor, but then when my dad ditched my mom for a younger model, she married the guy I call my dad now. It's an honorific more than an emotional truth. But my mom jumped classes when she married him, and it's been an uneasy union for me.

    Poverty = politics.

      But one of the beautys of growing older is that we can step back and view the different pit stops along our path...

      Hold on to the things that make us proud of who we are and where we want to go...and file away the things that were negative...as well as out of our control.

      You have to remember though that even the bad stuff is a part of what makes you....you...

      I hope that the choices I made were the right ones for my sons but I have no crystal ball...no parent does and sometimes we do make mistakes...

      If I've made any, I would hope that my sons would forgive me and not let my errors over-shadow what I would hope would be very happy fullfilling lives.

      Just thought you'd like to know how one mom felt about it...I look forward to your next diary.
