  •  "why you dont accept that the average salary (7+ / 0-)

those wall street buildings is about 60K per year?"

    Because it's a lie.

The average wage in the securities industry in. New York City fell by a record 20.5 percent in. 2009 to $311,330—still 4.9 times higher than the average in the ...

I'm not calling you a liar.

I'm merely saying that you are too stupid to know the difference between the truth and a lie.

Even when fact-checking is a matter of point-and-click.

As for feeding the world without fossil fuel, it's doable. But there's no point going to the trouble of digging out the facts for a person not bright enough to understand them.

You obviously have the same level of ignorance of science and technology as the average Democratic or Republican politician.

And we do blame the Federal Government. We have both major political parties in the hands of the people you think are your friends (they think you and me and everyone else who doesn't own a private jet is garbage) among the super-wealthy and those in the financial industry trying to become superwealthy at the expense of the taxpayers.

Listen up and learn something if you are capable of learning. Or are you incapable of getting any information that isn't spun into BS by a FreedomWorks or FoxNews corporate shill?

sad that most of the tea crowd don't seem to possess the ability to perform a simple google search to verify facts. Easier to rely on news sources, radio entertainers and biased financial publications that peddle what they want to hear. Keep living in that bubble of hate, baggers.

with 1 irrelevant statistic in the mix is your idea of an excellent retort? That's kinda sad. Do you somehow believe that the majority of the people working in those buildings are in the securities industry? Why dont you point and click your way to that information and see how not excellent the retort was.

personal attacks on someone you dont even know. You are assuming everyone in those buildings works in the securities industry? They don't...not even close actually. And if you take out the tiny fraction of people with high executive salaries you end up with a very normal average salary. Feeding the world without fossil fuel is possible if everyone works 10 hours per day again just for their food. Peak Oil is now or very soon which is why we can't waste time and remaining resources on fantasy land green energy policies that cant get us there yet. I don't think wealthy people are my friends. I just don't blame them for my problems unless they have done something criminal. Making personal attacks is pretty weak. Can you explain how taking down these wealthy people you despise will improve people's lives? I'm glad you blame the federal gov but i've almost never seen that expressed on this site. I'll save my intellectual and academic credentials for people who are a little more civil.

with the pig-ignorant. If you have nothing to share but your ignorance, STFU until you have learned something.

        "Intellectual and academic credentials?"

Don't tell me, let me guess. A biology "degree" from Liberty U where you learned how to teach "creation" "science".

What your talking points say about you is that you haven't the remotest clue about the world around you. And if you've been lurking on this site and have managed to learn nothing as you say, that's another grim comment about your intelligence... because "how to feed the world without fossil fuel" was answered here several months ago with solutions my technology background says appear viable.

I will admit that I am frustrated and annoyed for reasons that have nothing to do with you and nothing to do with politics and am indeed taking it out on you. . . because you're a really easy target.

I just found out that the nearest place where I can buy a 7407 integrated circuit for a prototype of an invention work-in-progress is about 30 miles from here... and closed 2 minutes before I called to find out if there were any in stock.

in a single post you have managed to stereotype, to be elitist, to make personal attacks, to accuse someone who obviously looks around to see all opinions on an issue of getting all of their information from one source, to in no substantive way address any questions from the original post. Not so sure you're on the same page as your daily kos comrades. I don't believe in creationism. And if you need me to connect you to any of those wealthy people you hate to get you some capital and help you get your flux capacitor working let me know. I'd be happy to help you out rather than take you down.

you're going to be treated like one, deal with it.

I did give you a chance to establish without a doubt your complete ignorance with respect to electronics technology and am amused that you took it.

As for hookups with VC funding . . . the one thing that"s worse for a newtech startup than shoestring/bootstrap funding is VC money from VCs who think they know what's going on because they've learned a few buzzwords for concepts they do not understand, and insist on being taken seriously in the direction of technology development anyway. And then blame the founders when the company blows up.

I'm not surprised you're hooked up with Wall Street. The kind of dangerous ignorance you show is probably about par for the course there. If you want to do something patriotic, encourage your friends to "Go Galt" somewhere that there's a real "free-market" with no government interference.

if I want the technology I work on to go places, I really need to avoid any VC who has any respect for your opinion. Any VC that takes seriously the ignorant crap you were spouting in the area of feeding people without fossil fuel... is probably fairly typical.

I've spent as much time letting you entertain me as I can afford to put in, I recommend going elsewhere and seeing if you can find a teabagger who can be impressed with your "facts" and "logic".

...like im having trouble dealing with anything. The continued accusations without stating one relevant point are hysterical. You are 1 step away from saying "I know you are but what am I",  and then maybe on to "I'm rubber, you're glue...". You are very sad and a poor advocate for whatever you believe in. Answer an actual question one day. And after your invention is complete do you plan on giving it away for free or will you attempt to earn a profit from it?
