    Niggerhead will encourage his supporters to circle the wagons and double down their support because their “culture” is under assault.

    Did you have to use that line? You couldn't find something a little more culturally neutral?

      origin does not make it inherently bigoted. I've never heard any Native Americans object to "circle the wagons." I would stop using it if they did, but it's not derogatory in origin or in current usage, the way, for example, "Indian summer" (false summer) is. It's no more an anti-NA expression than the term "juggernaut" to describe a massive, crushing force in motion is anti-Hindu.

          in order to protect oneself from attack by outsiders is a morally neutral action; the ethics depend on situation. I understand your perception, however.
