    Like Perry, I grew up in a racist environment (southern Indiana).  It was all-white, and people could say the N-word and everything else without consequences.  But I grew up and out of that mindset, as did millions of others.  For Perry to be using a place that still had a name like that as an adult is just not okay in any way at all.  The arrogance of continuing to do so even while trying to have a political career in post-MLK America is inexcusable, and tells me all I need to know about Perry.
